1974: livedo reticulosis
Winkelmann and coworkers, also in 1974, introduced the term "true livedo reticulosis" for the occurrence together of what they termed livedoid vasculitis with lupus erythematosus or periarteritis nodosa. [

] The authors did not explain further what they wanted to convey with the term "true." and they also did not define a "false livedo reticulosis." The term "reticulosis" also was not explained by them.
