Blister, subepidermal, reepithelialized

Differential Diagnosis

The base of the subepidermal blister is formed by flattened keratocytes of an epidermis becoming reepithelialized.

Keratocytes of the reepithelialized epidermis derive, in part, from the eccrine duct pictured here.
