The series of videos about surgery of the skin is intended to be useful to all those engaged in that practice, whether a dermatologist, a general surgeon, or a plastic surgeon, and irrespective of experience to date, whether a resident or a seasoned operator.
Toward that end, the videos that will follow periodically over the course of years, many of them, are divided roughly as “Basic” and “Advanced.” They are pertinent to “Classic” surgery of the skin, but, in addition, some videos will be directed to “Cosmetic Surgery.”
Richard G. Bennett, MD and Manish J. Gharia, MD, are dermatologic surgeons with experience and a long history of teaching their craft. Each of the videos illustrates them at work utilizing what they deem to be the very best method for achieving the result they seek to attain in the best interest of a patient, both therapeutically and cosmetically. They are motivated to share their knowledge by the conviction that, at some level, every dermatologist is, at least in part, a dermatologic surgeon.
